#Watchareading I've jumped into the translation of Heaven Official's Blessing, published by Seven Seas.

A big disadvantage of the Seven Seas books is that they're really heavy. And if you enjoy reading in bed and your grip slips and the book falls onto your face... Ouch!

Maius, drily: The secret I've kept from friends and family is red-haired, pale-skinned, and freckled, and evidently doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut.

Caomh, looking at the ceiling, grinning: If only somebody would keep my mouth occupied with something else then...

Maius, with a huff: Seriously? 🙄

Caomh: ...then I wouldn't...

I've grown extremely fond of Adelphios while writing The Gladiator's Passion, and as he seemed to be surrounded by a bit of mystery, I decided to make him the hero of my next WIP. 😊

Everyone, meet Aurelius Adelphios, the stern-faced pilus prior of the Fourth Cohort of the Thirtieth Legion. In The Gladiator's Passion, he is introduced like this: "Egypt-born and a good decade older than Maius, Adelphios wore authority like a cloak."
