It doesnt take a monero mind to know its very risky to send fiat to unknown person in the crypto world. I would risk suspician and account closure. Then you have the bitcoin tracking on top. Still think bisq is a great idea in general of course.

Generally speaking, Bisq doesn't deal with banks at all. All fiat transfers take place directly between users.

But there have been reports of banks closing accounts upon suspecting bitcoin activity. As a result, Bisq requires that the "reason for payment" field always be left BLANK when making a payment (if the payment method offers such a field).

If a reason is required, it should be something trivial like a "-" or "payment". If you want to use something else, please agree on an alternative with your peer using trader chat.

Sure, but I was referring to the traceability of the Monero, as a network privacy concept.

Whether they gave the private keys to the researchers or not is important to know how traceable Monero is.

It's kinda sad to see Litecoin at 17 and Monero at 26. They are probably the two most honest shitcoins out there.
