I use #Amethyst so often, you can thickly apply the extended mind thesis to my interactions with it. I think "scroll nostr" and I immediately reach for my phone. Almost to the point where I'm considering uninstalling it to encourage me to use other clients, particularly Nostrudel and Gossip which I have running on my desktop.
Though we exist in Plato's cave, ideally we would use own constructions of magnamity or related ideas as a compass for our actions. That construction is multifaceted, but we still are limited by the lenses we wear - however golden we think they are.
For practicality, I tend to mix the higher perspective of *The True Ungraspable Truth* with the more local perspective of "lack of global truth", but I do recognize the nuance.
If you are using multiple clients at the same time, do you risk having those relays go up in smoke from all the traffic you're requesting? #asknostr
Not necessicarily random relays (though if clients have the option, then it essentially is random) say on your first day of nostr, you've found 100 relays yoh trust and want to publish to. You can send them anything you need so that your interactions and settings can still work across relays, but they just rotate out every so often. Whenever you change relays, broadcast the most current events that have your profile settings on them.
Not a client (yet?) but nostr.how was perfect for me to get a decent understanding. Think i tested Coracle, Snort and Amethyst immediately after.
Hmmm wondering about a script to automatically rotate relays every so often 🤔
Everyone is a product tester on nostr, knowingly or not. Nostr is testing in production, all the time.
Providing feedback to devs helps fix a broken thing for you, and improve the app for all.
Providing feedback between two nostr apps, or a nostr app and a relay helps improve interoperability.
I encourage you to submit your feedback, and make nostr better for everyone.

If you dont know how to do it:
1) screen recordings, and screenshots really help
2) see an example single nostr app rubric creating a new issue in damus issues (use this for any nostr app). For nostrability issues (intercation between more than one app, or an app and relay) see the nostrability issue template

Can't help but also bring up a social dynamic between our product testers and devs. I engage in a similar behavior but I'm uncomfortable with the social implications of this dynamic. Definitely a line between engagement with devs/bug reports and co-opting a thread for your own motives, but at least I haven't found where that lies.
All I can do is just focus on being courteous with my feedback and suggestions, even if potentially intrusive.
Metaphysics is how you tune the lens settings for our reality filters. Change the underlying assumptions, while the external reality may not change - you are living and responding to a different reality than before.
Can't really get past that. if you're lens is foggy, you're not going to get a clear representation of anything you are seeing. Problem is, the lense is multidimensional and there is no single correct orientation, but there are clearly wrong ones. You'll see an image, but the experienced photographer can infer the settings of the filter.

Sunday's #brunchstr. Love chipotle mayo .
Look at what they need to do to mimic even a fraction of our power.
