My first multitrack recording about 20 years ago. Free drum software for the drum part (played manually on PC keyboard with the fills played and mixed down manually). Shareware recording software with very limited multitrack capability. Ibanez Roadster 2 guitar and a Peavey practice amp with the gain cranked and plugged into the line input on a Pentium 3 PC’s sound card. Manual mixdowns for all the parts. Had to play all 3 guitar parts beginning to end in one take with no edits. Low tech.

Shitting my pants again earlier tonight cloning a new Cold Card, on the path to greater knowledge about the importance of regular firmware updates. It all worked out in the end.

Hahaha Globe and Mail articles behind a paywall. If I wanted a lobotomy I’d just do it myself.

Yeah I hear you man. Everyone I’ve spoon fed and gently encouraged to learn just a tiny bit about physical and financial self reliance to no avail is going to:

1) wonder where the fuck I am when SHTF

2) get ₿itcoin at the price they deserve

3) be suck-holing for Social Credit points at a government checkpoint within a decade.

It’s too bad that most of them are the people I actually care about. You can lead a horse to water….

I followed this mission for roughly 10 years prior to launch and was so thrilled at the success of the launch, orbit placement and months-long commissioning process. Hinging on the passage through literally hundreds of potential critical single point failure points, the JWT mission already stands as mankind’s greatest feat of applied science and engineering. Thanks for bringing me back to the topic by sharing these amazing images. With the huge learning push I’ve been on since JWT’s launch with preparedness, permaculture and ₿itcoin, this is the first time I’ve revisited this mission in many months. I can’t wait to see what the JWT version of the Hubble Deep Field images look like! 🤙🏽

A lot of people up here in Northern Alberta that raise Elk and Bison use 8’ high page wire that has about a 6” square grid on the top 6’ and about a 3”x6” grid for the bottom two feet for keeping out smaller critters. Check out what my buddy caught on his game cam this weekend about 5 miles from where I sit:

Two of each make and model that I have been able to justify purchasing or afford at the time, cloned in pairs that are geographically separated from each other and their seed phrases, which are stamped on steel. That way I can take a hammer to any one of them and have a ready backup some distance away.

Does anyone understand the mechanism by which dollars are taken out of circulation (ie the portion of the graph that curves downward) when it’s such a mishmash of paper currency, other instruments, and just straight up numbers on a screen?

It’s the only reason pro sports and network TV exist. Bread and circuses. People would otherwise have nothing to do but go seek their own glory, knowledge and fortune. It just cracks me up seeing how wrapped up people at work get about the success of “their” team, while having zero knowledge or desire to pursue knowledge about the things that control their daily lives. It’s no wonder we are being farmed.

50% increase in grocery prices is yielding a 32% increase in food bank visits. Seems about right.

It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion watching my in-laws’ advisor still pushing them into funds that are heavy on US treasury bonds. And churning for commissions. And they look at me like I have two heads when I talk about ₿itcoin. To boot, they think that the concept of their banked savings devaluing to the tune of 12% annually is pure crazy talk. I guess it’s true what they say about a fool and their money.
