On a mission to make gouty arthritis management app. Bitcoiner. Coder. Father. Nature lover.

After a hard working day there is no other joy for me like throwing in the long wave bodygliding! And why not, knowing my pension is in bitcoin 🫡 #nature #sea

Sun, sand, sea and wind. What more could I want from the summer? Cheers to my 8yo princess sparkling creativity everywhere. #nature #photography

It’s summer and despite I’m about to jump into coding soon, there is still room for some fresh air and walks on the seaside. #photography #nature #summer

Thanks for answering this. Phoenix looks like a good wallet.

I am thinking of a simple app, where I can make tasks as a parent and my kids to be able to get a hold of it. A completion of the task results in some zaps to their individual lighting wallets. Furtherly these wallets can serve to authorize, socialize, share art and ideas and get zaps on Nostr network and hold their identities.

I didnt start with a solid plan yet - just an idea, thinking out loud as I will need to figure out how to build this ‘kid friendly’ with the option to grow with them over the years. Might turn out impossible or dangerous…

So far - I am reading through the NOSTR protocol and the Lightning Network documentation to familiarize with the capabilities and limitations of the technology and how can I use them effectively for messaging/payment use cases. Definitely not looking to make the next Primal though :) I can sense as a dev that there is a very wide application - local communities, marketplaces, non-profit, journalism…

Sorry if I sound too lame, still a week fresh in NOSTR - otherwise have some experience building on Stacks and then I came across this great protocol.

Hahaha, I see what you did here, but I must admit you're absolutely right! 😀 Still using some printed currency here and there and get confused. Do you think this idea makes sense though? If not - why? I know NOSTR is not exactly this type of ecosystem, but I want to teach my kids blockchain and have them adopt Bitcoin at early age. Thanks!

Yesterday I talked with my 12yrs old. He is in his creator moment - drawing, making short videos, really feeling it. I told him about NOSTR and that I am becoming part of this community, and that he can use ZBD to make a lighting account, and then jump on NOSTR to share his content and even get some zaps.

Hope that I can plant this seed early! 🌱

I perceive the ecosystem very young so if he and more of his friends are early adopters - in 5-10 years he will swim naturally in blockchain, decentralized networks and services. Amazing times!

I plan to share in this profile content on the goutbye app and my gouty arthritis management, but as a living creature I’m also fascinated by history, nature and culture.

During the summer me and my family spend some time in the Northeast Bulgaria and I will share some interesting places and stories, hope you like it!

LFG!

On the photo I took today you can see Chirakman Cape, located on the northern Black Sea coast near Kavarna, Bulgaria, that has a rich and diverse history stretching back to ancient times. Here are a few key points about its history:

Ancient Settlement: Archaeological evidence indicates that Chirakman Cape was inhabited as early as the Thracian period. The strategic location made it an attractive spot for settlers due to its natural defenses and proximity to maritime routes.

Greek Influence: In the 5th century BCE, Greek colonists established the town of Bizone on Chirakman Cape. This settlement became an important trade hub due to its port, facilitating commerce between the local Thracian tribes and the wider Hellenistic world.

Roman Era: During the Roman period, Bizone continued to flourish. The Romans built extensive infrastructure, including roads, fortifications, and public buildings. The town’s strategic significance remained high due to its position on the Black Sea.

Byzantine and Medieval Periods: After the decline of the Roman Empire, Chirakman Cape fell under Byzantine control. It remained a significant military and trade outpost throughout the Byzantine period and into the medieval era. The area saw numerous conflicts, particularly during the periods of Bulgarian-Byzantine wars.

Ottoman Period: In the late medieval period, the region came under Ottoman rule. The Ottomans fortified Chirakman Cape and used it as a lookout point to monitor maritime activities and protect their interests in the Black Sea region.

Modern Era: Today, Chirakman Cape is known for its archaeological significance. Numerous excavations have uncovered artifacts and structures from its various historical phases, making it a valuable site for understanding the region’s history.

Chirakman Cape’s historical importance lies in its continuous occupation and use across different civilizations, each leaving its mark on the landscape and contributing to the rich tapestry of the region’s history.

Pretty cool! 🦶🏻

I call this the squirrel 🐿️ syndrome, happens all the time 🥹

Actually, these are great news! While Elon self-praises with X stats, and gives a low bar with the cheap blue badge, the real bitcoiners quietly move to the real decentralized Bitcoin network NOSTR is and form a natural habitat for like-minded people. Creators, rebels, thinkers. Couldn’t be more excited! 😊

Peace of mind 😌

I'd really appreciate an invite if you have a spare one 🦶

Another point as well - starting to withdraw zaps to credit card she will step in the government personal accounting isn’t it? How are the regulations on personal finances work in Mexico?

I started my research with ZBD and Damus, now trying Primal. The solution shall be easy to use for sure and this makes me think don’t we need a solution or guideline for elder people - the easiest and the safest from scams?

I don’t want angel investors, nor VCs messing with my app or goals. I’ve got several offers and pushed back all of these.

My goals: to help myself say GoutBye and to help more people do the same. If the app works I’m sure it will bright moral and financial benefits.

Their goals: how much money can we make, is there any valuable data we can use/sell, how fast can we exit it…

Thus It’s a long road of more than 9 years: from the initial concept, through design, research, AI training and now LLM pushing the limits. Hybrid coding, making local SQLite private vault and so on…

And even if it takes another 9 years I’ll keep pushing as it already helped me reducing gout flares to 0 in the last 4 years. So it might work for other people too. Soon we’ll see :)

Thanks, Ben. This information is nice, as it gives an interesting food perspective on inflammatory foods and Ketosis. I am studying Gout and have gone through most of the different researches on gout and talking with a lot of people too, etc. This includes Keto diets.

Going full keto or carnivore diet might reduce gout flares in some people, indeed but is not proven with a wide population group, that does reduce the uric acid - actually it is the reverse. Thus, I would take this with a grain of salt. Yes, on these videos we have statements that uric acid is an anti-oxydant, but this coin also has two sides: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2895915/

Gout management includes a lot of tiny steps, and requires military discipline, including drinking a lot of water (if your organism allows this), having regular anaerobic exercises daily - swimming, walking. No alcohol, no sugar, etc.

Keto / Carnivore diet needs to be examined in a controlled study for prolonged time - e.g. a year. Only this way we can say something is certain. As there is no one diet to match them all, and gout is very specific, as it usually goes with a lot of other interconnected conditions - I believe this is the way to achieve this. But I will definitely dig deeper in this direction as well!
