Petition for calling the 9th decimal place a "Buttoshi"
Dude, I put StartOS on a Raspi4, ano old windowsXP tower I had in the closet and THEN I bought a server from them... What cost? The first two were less than $20 and the server I bought with Bitcoin that had appreciated.
What does the Deep state have to do with free open source software? You sound like someone who does security theater to make things sound more nefarious than they actually are. If people don't have $20 to spend on running their own sovereign money and a way to have financial freedom, I guess you got me.
That's actually one of my favorites (a little long to introduce someone to Eyedea though)
Did you read the plea deal or just the headline? Smirnov is literally being charged for evading taxes on the very bribery he (has been forced to) say never happened. It's wild how many people don't read the shit they send around nor use any common sense about how far a government will go to cover for their crimes.
Lol, and you're an establishment leftist. So, instead of actually thinking you wait for the corporate press to tell you what to say. 👍
Yes, the hypocrisy of thinking that campaign finance, which is the most milquetoast of "crimes" is forgivable and not literally having sex with a minor, selling access to a politician to a foreign government, and discarding a gun in a dumpster by a school. Yes, very hypocritical, you got me.
People with their own servers and a healthy fear of unencrypted comms. It me.
The witness discount is tough because I love lightning but we did effectively double block size to create the transaction layer. I don't know the way around that one.
In what way? I mean, if it's scammy FOSS advocates and Bitcoiners are pretty hard targets, tbh.
Oh man what was his crime? Must have been something crazy like selling access to the vice President or having sex with underage girls or something... Or giving slightly too much money to a local political candidate, yeah that is worth 5 years...
Either you aren't understanding what I am saying or you are purposefully misconstrueing what I am saying. Either way I don't have much more time for it.
I said poor people bring up PRICES not costs. Costs are the labor, materials, and market social factors. Prices are the social factors and future projections after costs are considered.
Poor people using government subsidized health care is absolutely a blame for prices as well as insurance schemes that drive them up. If there is no limiting factor(denials) prices never stop going up.
Insurance is a ponzi. So, bitcoin doesn't fix that. How you make healthcare better is just letting the market find prices.
I also am not advocating for doctors to give their services away, I was just asking why blame the third party payer for the resultant death from disease when even with all the money in the world, you'd still need a doctor to administer the cure. That was my point.
I am an anarchist so I don't believe in regulations outside of a business' own rules. I also don't advocate for the equivocation between literal murder and not paying for a service post hoc. BTW no one in the US doesn't get "life saving care" if you have cancer and your heart fails, paramedics will try to save your life. They won't treat an incurable disease with a therapy because that's not life saving, it's longevity maximizing. Everyone dies. They always perform CPR on the unconscious to at least do something but everyone just wants to get upset about the inevitable.
The regulations exist and this happens, and you think "there just weren't enough"
The doctor can treat you but chose not to because he wouldn't be paid, that is the choice, not the doctor paying for your treatment.
If boulder removal costs $100,000 and I've only paid $200 over the lifetime of my policy what sane individual would just give me $99,800? (Obviously don't strawman the argument with different figures, point being most people try to extract more money from recouped policy expenses than they put in)
I think insurance is a scam, for sure(because how could it not be, it's literally a pyramid scheme). The government FORCING YOU to have insurance and using taxes and money printing to pay for the poor's healthcare is what misaligns the incentives and drives up prices due to perverse incentives.
Above all, not doing something, and actively murdering someone is the literal essence of the Trolly problem. Which by the way, tells you whether you are a utilitarian murderer or a deontological ethicist.
The monster that lurks in the shadows may be weaker but much more frightening because you can not see its whole shape. China is a more formidable monster, The USG is definitely scarier though.
First rule is don't ask things like that on a public forum.
