In his first day he followed a total of 1 person besides himself and the Damus account (which are auto follows I believe). Clearly not here to experience the real Nostr. Follow people and engage. It's kind of amusing. These people that are so used to having people smooch their asses on Xitter because of the feed algorithm will come here, not follow anyone and then declare Nostr ded.

While holding your own money is my preferred method. If you're brand new to Bitcoin and more specificly, Bitcoin on the Lightning network, sometimes starting off custodial like with getalby is the most comfortable way. Check out https://getalby.com/ for a quick and easy setup. Once you have a Lightning address you can put it in your Nostr profile.
LND definitely has an itchy trigger finger on the force close.
Eclair is also a great option for a lightning implementation.
CLN can easily handle anchor channels. You just add experimental-anchors to the config. They should probably pull back on the "experimental" thing though. It's solid.

It is far beyond anything I would have been able to set up on my own, but he has been extremely patient and transparent every step of the way, teaching and explaining everything so I can administer this beast of a server.
I’ve learned a great deal, and will continue to learn a lot in the coming weeks, but I already have more confidence that the data belonging to the people trusting me to hold it for them is safe and secure.

Chinese hackers took over a large number of Cisco and Netgear routers and installed backdoors.
Nothing was done about it until the Chinese started attacking US government stuff with them.
At that point the FBI used THEIR backdoor to nuke those Cisco and Netgear routers.
I feel safe now.
