BBQ restaurant and that I didn't want to smell like BBQ for the rest of my life.
How about you FED 👀
I heard it tastes a bit nutty
I dunno, in 1990 I was broke af and barely scraping together enough $ together to eat & pay rent. Giving in to despair is a sure-fire way to lose epically. Shit could have gone many different ways. It was not all sunshine and rainbows, never has been.
Bitcoin absolutely gives the current younger gen an opportunity to get ahead financially and throw off the chains. That's enough reason right there to stay hopeful and push on through.
Don't let them drag you down brother, there's tremendous opportunity for you, take risks and don't let failures slow you down or discourage you 🫂🧡
I'm squarely in the middle of what is called Gen X. I gotta say, I fucking hate those nostalgia videos that try to portray 30-40 years ago as some kind of Golden Age. Life wasn't any better than you can make your life now. It's just easier to bitch publicly now.
Isn't it just a Strike wallet? When I zap a primal user that's where it goes.
Bitcoin needs its "Ossify Now" cadre as much as it needs it "Add Bells and Whistles" cadre and all the other knuckleheads in between. The contentiousness of the relationships ensure that neither side ever gets everything and progress is slow and purposeful.
That said the folks maintaining Bitcoin Core, Knots, btcd, etc. deserve to be funded. Funding though should truly have no strings attached to it.
I cannot
Probably because it's the point was to have a custodial application (like ecash) but also have it verifiable that they aren't committing fraud on the backend by rehypothecating the actual number of bitcoins the custodian is holding.
At least that's my guess.
I believe all their receives and sends are swap ins and outs over Liquid via Boltz. So like Muun but with Liquid. So they don't really have any channels afaik
I also just sent you 1000 sats via keysend and it took 48 seconds vs. 1 second to my CLN node at a different site so i think yeah, voltage is having a moment. Good luck bud 🤙
