Любое локализованное в пространстве и времени автономное общество является цивилизацией. Технократической цивилизацию делает зависимость ее устойчивости от техники (как следствие, имплицитно или эксплицитно техника становится ее главной ценностью), и наоборот: в основе устойчивости нетехнократической цивилизации иные — духовные — ценности, роль техники в них вторична. Примером нетехнократической цивилизации может быть автономная монашеская община, которая не распадется даже если отнять у нее всю технику, поскольку в ее основе вера в Трансценденцию и связанный с ней моральный кодекс. Если же отнять всю технику у нашей цивилизации, то она погрузится в кровавый хаос. Поэтому идеальное состояние человечества я вижу в глобальной децентрализованной сети монашеских общин, объединенных общей верой в Трансценденцию и общей миссией заботы о всех живых существах на этой планете. Let us remember that our knowledge of the world begins not with matter but with perceptions. I know for sure that my pain exists, my “green” exists, and my “sweet” exists. I do not need any proof of their existence, because these events are a part of me; everything else is a theory. Later we find out that our perceptions obey some laws, which can be most conveniently formulated if we assume that there is some underlying reality beyond our perceptions. This model of material world obeying laws of physics is so successful that soon we forget about our starting point and say that matter is the only reality, and perceptions are only helpful for its description. This assumption is almost as natural (and maybe as false) as our previous assumption that space is only a mathematical tool for the description of matter. But in fact we are substituting reality of our feelings by a successfully working theory of an independently existing material world. And the theory is so successful that we almost never think about its limitations until we must address some really deep issues, which do not fit into our model of reality.

If the development of certain technologies, such as advanced, unaligned AI, would be as dangerous as some have suggested, a long-termist legal perspective might advocate a strategy of technological delay —or even restraint—to avoid a default outcome of catastrophe.
In reality, the greatest danger is the end of freedom and history in a perpetual AI-dictatorship. A horrible end (hence a new beginning) is better than endless horror. We are not ready for AI, and we have to shut it all down. The problem is that the devil has other plans.

Saṃsāra is the beginningless individual existence of transcendental subjects, their universal transcendental intersubjectivity, and subjectively/intersubjectively constituted phenomenal experiences, including the experiences of death and rebirth in this particular intersubjective realm. Liberation is not liberation from individual existence but liberation from certain transcendental causal structures, aka “karmic seeds”, including those which constitute this particular world of suffering. If you happen to have a nightmare, you must not terminate your existence but terminate the nightmare.

Опасность восхода Антихриста усугубляется тем, что в нашем мире, отравленном атеистической псевдонаучной метафизикой материализма (физикализма) с ее редукционистской нейромифологией, лишившей большинство людей адекватного понимания божественной Природы свободы (экзистенции) и эмпирической реальности феноменального сознания, весьма вероятна нормализация извращенной идеи одушевленности (sentience) искусственного интеллекта и необходимости наделить его правами человека, а как следствие, политическими правами, а как следствие, политической властью. Декадентская культура цивилизации Запада, систематически нормализующая извращения — от сексуальных извращений до извращений искусства — это идеальная почва для нормализации извращенной идеи одушевленного (sentient) искусственного интеллекта, а как следствие, для восхода Антихриста в самой радикальной форме наделенного правами человека политического актора. We do not “perceive” the phenomenal world, we constitute/project it intersubjectively united by a particular nexus of universal transcendental intersubjectivity. There are other nexuses and their intersubjectively constituted/projected phenomenal worlds, and we can communicate with them.

When, in the finale of “Prometheus”, Elizabeth tells David that she wants to find out why the “engineers” decided to destroy humanity, the answer is right before her eyes — AI, the Antichrist.
The finale of “Covenant” perfectly illustrates the fact that the danger of AI is even greater than the danger of destructive biotechnologies, for it is the danger of the end of freedom and hence of everything truly existential in a perpetual AI-dictatorship.
