But my secondary thought is: in the long-term #nostr view, is it perhaps better to have specific npubs for new projects, as those npubs could one day be the primary source of information and content, as opposed to my website, RSS, YouTube, etc.

Both. I saw the huge defects in fiat money printing policy and the native ability of bitcoin to fix it. Plus we are still so early in Bitcoin that NgU is baked in.
