can’t sleep tonight, so here is some more info!

up to this point we do not know what exactly is going on. or *if* something is going on.

this is the main plot for now:

- Prigozhin voice messages which has no connection to time and places, therefore there are speculations he was in St Petersburg that day and not in Rostov

- no official announcement from the president himself, only from his press secretary, and such FSB, Defence Ministry and Prosecutor General's Office

- all pro-governmental medias are silent, they are not allowed to talk about Prigozhin and cite his messages, there was only one news flash on Channel One which fully consisted of officials statements and none of Prigozhin words

- there is something going on in Rostov. its governor warned people to stay at homes. there is no clear video footage of shootings (or even shotted helicopter , as Prigozhin mentioned), but some footages showed a column of vehicles moving. the expressway M-4 blocked to traffic.

yeah, i understand your views on Russian/Ukrainian conflict but still can’t agree with that.

after all, now we can only speculate on who to blame since we are back to value judgments.

i do not think so. it would be stupid to think that any politician from another country cares about people in the other part of the globe.

and i find him guilty of that. a wise politician would try his best to save any of it from happening – yet he didn’t.

during the Ru/Uk invasion we’ve seen some disturbance in Kosovo, Russian agencies probably wanted to shift the focus to that, but local politics were able to negotiate it.

and i blame Putin for not doing the same thing. agencies are not saint, but Putin is the main villain in this situation.

he started killing Russians before, and western countries closed their eyes for that, even helped him. i understand. now he kills Ukrainians as well. i’m glad western politicians noticed that.

they don’t lie about how bad he is, they just don’t mention their own problems.

i live in Russia my entire life. for the last twenty years there was not any tension on Russia/West relationships whatsoever.

we’ve seen Merkel and Obama on the TV all the time visiting Putin and telling how everyone would cooperate and bla bla bla.

let me make it clear: Putin moved Russian troops to Ukraine, Putin started mobilisation. Because of Putin’s actions both Russian and Ukrainian people die at this war.

i might only assume you consider it starting in 2014. i can’t agree with that because the Donbas conflict de-escalated by 2018

by violation of the territorial integrity of another country. i do remember waking up in the morning of 24th of Feb and learning that Ukrainian cities were bombed, and Russian troops entered Ukrainian territory.

we got your point of view. instead of trying to de-escalate the conflict, western governments are pushing it more.

to some extent i even agree with it.

however Putin himself started the war. by saying that not him but western politicians should stop what they are doing you transfer the focus from a person who is responsible for that.
