If you just opened these channels you may need to wait a day or two for gossip about your node to propagate through the network. Also if these are private channels you might need to include routing hints for others to find you.

If you're using Aqua from nostr:npub1jan3xfrvxmd35smylytmnp3ne0sgqh2x47yq766s55zaf6eja4rselx52y I would recommend not using the built in third party service to buy bitcoin. It's very expensive. Here's a comparison of buying $100 USD from Aqua version Strike.

Nah I let versions ride for at least 6 months before updating. I also review the changes between versions to make sure nothing weird sneaks in.

Bitcoin is something that I feel deserves real scrutiny before updating.
