So many people down there. #newyork is a crazy place.

Disagree with yoh. There’s no way Kamala doesn’t take the presidency ticket. DNC *could* say they want someone else but I highly doubt that.

I think you’re right. Just before this he was resting his head against that pole.
This is a #photo that I am so proud of. A lot of planning went into it and I actually had to make a last minute pivot to salvage the shot. I’m doing a super limited #print run of only 25 total. 3 have sold already. I call this one “Dawn’s First Chore”.

Here’s a #photo I made in #boston recently. It makes me ask so many questions. Why does this otherwise vibrant person look so down? I wish I’d had time to go over and talk to him.

Caught this beautiful #sunrise on a recent trip to #longisland. This is #gilgo #beach. My wife let me know after I returned that beach is a well known murder location….
Didn’t die! And got a cool #photo 😅

Been focusing on #photography lately. Here’s one I’m very proud of. Definitely one of my favorites. Beautiful cotton candy #sunrise.
Saw this little guy at a #botanical #garden in #boston.
I’m growing a #print #photography business and excited to share it 👉 https://davidrinaldo.com

#Android users there's also NewPipe which I really love
For sure. I haven't used Fusion360 but I've done some Blender and think that is similar. Modeling is more akin to sculpting IMO where CAD is going to be much more akin to drafting. In my experience with 3d modeling I found that my CAD skills didn't really translate over and vice versa.
CAD is about defining precise measurements. You'll constrain measurements to a known point like your 0,0 origin. When modeling a part in CAD I think about it like how it would be machined. YouTube is your friend. There's a lot of buttons but they aren't as scary when you know what they do.
You as well man. I found that interests and hobbies outside of work were what carried me through the toughest times. Hang in there!
I've been saving like crazy. I did start a web dev firm and I'm putting some energy towards building that freelance business. But it's not self-sustaining yet.
This plan has been in the works for a couple years. And it was still so hard to pull the trigger. I went back and forth with myself for nearly 6 months before finally taking the plunge.
They've been trying to demonize gun companies for decades...
I had to leave corporate software. It was sucking the life out of me. You're right, very lonely.
- Realize it's all a scam
- Realize lack of personal fulfillment
Damn that hits home so hard
I wrote a post about it if you'd like a primer: https://dvdt.dev/2024/05/zettelkasten/
