I used to think I was far left. I don’t think I’ve changed that much. But I got left behind a long time ago and now think I’m far more centrist. That’s fucking crazy to me. The extremes are dangerous and they’re getting farther apart.

While on vacation with my family on a trip out to the Black Hills I was able to take a night off and head over to the Badlands National Park. I was very impressed with how dark the skies were there. The park has a lot of different overlooks which provide different views of the area at each one. Here's one shot I got at the Burns Basin Overlook with my 50mm lens.
