Wow. When you’re unwilling to punish criminals, everyone else pays the price.
I get this. As a helicopter pilot, I tend to assume something is going to go wrong until I’ve been proven otherwise. This has served me well and kept me safe for 30+ yrs. However, the approach spills over in to the rest of my life. I’m not convinced the attitude increases my overall happiness.
