I don’t think any executive representative (president, governor, mayor, sheriff, etc) has any authority to order citizens to do anything. You can execute the duly passed constitutional laws and that’s it. You can suggest I do something like evacuate. You can give me info collected by government services. You can inform me there will be absolutely no emergency service response if I stay. But mandate or order me???? You somehow are under an illusion that you are my leader. You are not my leader, you’re my representative.
Simple is powerful.

It's soon November and that means we're approaching the third iteration of #nostrnovember.
The first iteration (in 2022) was all about only using nostr for the entire month, no other social platform was allowed. Our focus was to help builders build by using clients extensively and reporting any issues or features missing from the client.
The second iteration (in 2023) was all about spreading the word about nostr and advertise it to the world, to get more users and builders over here to help us build awesome stuff on nostr.
This year will be the third iteration of #nostrnovember, what should we make of it fellow nostriches?

Specific sectors are variable but the utility I work for expects our load to double by 2030 regardless of where that power comes from. We’ve never had a long period where people want less energy.
Good questions. Yes, worldwide the Christian church continues to grow despite declines in some areas of the world. The Bible is verifiable, there is no piece of historical literature with more early manuscript support, nothing else is even close. The catholic church is one part of the Christian church, I happen to attend an independent church. The majority of Christians consider the Bible the source code and any human organization of community is accountable to the Bible more than local leadership. Any church or demonization could disappear tomorrow and nothing changes for all other Christians.

In the United States we do not elect our leaders, the citizens are the leaders. Our elections are to choose who we will allow to represent us in various government offices. Yes it’s semantics, but how we view winners of elections makes a big difference in how we live.
