This week I accomplished what was supposed to be a lifelong goal of mining a block. Anyways, I have no Bitcoin friends, live in a small town in fly over country and even my wife doesn’t care but if there is anyplace that I can celebrate it is on Nostr. Tonight I am putting my kids to bed, pouring a glass of whiskey and going to sit on my front porch in the dark and pray. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the time and effort you have poured into Ocean it is turning the tide! 😉

There should be no such thing as a tax exempt organizations or tax deductible giving. The country would heal, scam organization would shut down, and Christian churches would do just fine. Christian giving is an act of acknowledgment that everything I “own” is a gift from God in the first place and supporting the work of the church makes the world a better place. I don’t need to be incentivized by a secular government to give.
I’ve learned my opinion is best expressed by what I do rather than by what I say. Telling people what I did and how it turned out is much more powerful than telling them what I think they should do. And yes, this is also parenting advice.
Summer days on the lake and the Colorado river are awesome. The others… they’re just way too hot. We go to the mountains for a break.

Most don’t seem bothered by the massive death tolls for both Ukraine and Russia. Unfortunately, until it’s someone personal, many think it’s just another TV death. I wouldn’t expect less bloody this time.
