I've never heard of under saponification. You always want saponification complete. And my soaps test at 9-10
I had heard of some soap being just barely basic enough to saponify, making it a creamier texture.
I donโt have a desire for this, just curious about the process. I would think it would make the soap a bit greasyโฆ

Oh, you're talking about super fat. That's when you put more oils in than are needed. This ensures that there is no lye that has not been saponified, and also adds a creaminess. I use a 5% superfat.

Yeah, I just shipped to Germany a couple weeks ago. He made a large purchase. He bought 21 bars. I charged him 130 for the soap, and he paid $60 for shipping. He didn't end up paying any import fees, but that doesn't mean you won't.

How peppermint is it? I'm looking for burn my eyes refreshing to wake me up in the AM without soap in the eye lol
It burned my eyes, and opened up my sinuses when making. ๐ I put 4oz in per batch. It's definitely got the smell. I just tried it out in the shower earlier, and it's very refreshing. Made my balls tingle a bit. ๐๐
