Primal on mobile. I also tried profile zapping in Damus and that didn't work either. I don't think I have a budget set and I received a zap on this post. Now I'm having trouble connecting to my Alby account via Zeus and I can't access my main computer with the extension downloaded bc I'm traveling without it. Guess I'll have to dig into it later 🤷‍♂️

Nostr-verse I need some help! I've tried zapping a few posts using Primal. The post lights up orange with an updated zap count but the sats aren't leaving my wallet. I have Alby connected. What else can I troubleshoot?

Yesterday my daughter asked me how starfish eat.

I didn't know the answer so I looked it up.

Aaaaaaand then of course I drew a parallel to bitcoin mining.

Starfish have a remarkable method of feeding by everting their stomach to digest prey outside their bodies. They tackle hard-shelled bivalves, employing a persistent effort to pry them open and access the nourishment inside.

This meticulous process mirrors how #bitcoin  miners seek out hard-to-reach energy resources. In places where energy might be abundant but inaccessible or under-utilized, bitcoin mining can step in to tap into these resources.

By setting up mining operations near remote or otherwise stranded energy sources, miners can convert what would be wasted energy into a valuable resource - bitcoin. This mirrors the starfish’s ability to unlock a sealed source of sustenance.

Much like the starfish moves from one bivalve to another in a continual hunt for nourishment, bitcoin miners adapt and move to where energy is accessible and affordable, ensuring the relentless churn of the network continues.

Both processes reveal a fascinating blend of opportunism and efficiency, whether in nature or in the digital realm. By harnessing hard-to-reach resources, starfish and bitcoin miners both contribute to their respective ecosystems in a unique and essential way.

Thank you for listening to my TED talk!
