Chief user experience complainer. Head of FOMO.

This would not surprise me at all.

Quick side story: I once chatted with (self proclaimed) FBI agent at a Bitcoin conference in Austin and they had quite a lot of questions to which I was "no comment".

I think they insert one into every community and give them list of questions to assess how "extremist" the community is...

I think there would be entertainment value in getting them for interview...

None of my nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm NWC connections work anymore. I’m back to manual zaps like it’s a year ago.

My Alby nwc seem so work well from Amethyst, so I wonder what is the issue?

Yeah, it's a good point and I would be interested what other folks think here, but to me what Nintendo did still sounds like a fair game.

I'm happy to report that our baby boy reliably falls asleep while listening to the voice of nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z.

Thank you Preston! ☺️

One interesting finding: at the UC Berkeley, there is a program "Chicanx Latinx Studies" where students are

- taught to demand help and support because they are victims.

- asked to write graded papers analyzing (non-critically) the work of Karl Marx or using it as a source to build their thesis on different forms of oppressions

and other fun stuff...

Oh, I didn't mean to sound offensive. Sorry for that.

I think if your definition of communism is that

- everyone is free to join or leave anytime they want

- everyone is free to use "it" however they want

- people that provide value (e.g. mining) get rewarded with proportional buying power and can spend it on whatever they want

- it can't be subverted/changed by a single "leader"/committee

- it doesn't split people into two classes of "good" and "bad"

Then yes, according to this definition Bitcoin would be communist. I spent couple years living under communism and I would definitely NOT use this definition.

I think I'd still rather protest in EU countries than in Russia, because even though they will beat you and arrest you in both, I think you have a larger chance to get out of in EU.

The good thing about post-soviet slavic countries is that the police is generally not as strong and as armed as in the US. So during the protests it's more of a fair game.
