The recipient can every time generate an account statement and will see then the IBAN. But Revolut gave me a Lithuania IBAN and not from my origin country. So there is a little bit more privacy then to use my primary account.
Name and Revolut Tag in the overview. But If an account statement will be generated there is the complete IBAN displayed.

Big tech is already sharing data with the state.
At some point in a dystopian future it will turn completely against users.
Then you will only be free and save if you use a Foss os, software and librebooted or corebooted Systems.
You can call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think owning an old PC or Laptop without Intel Management Engine/ AMD ST will be very important in the future.
