Funny day for me to delete TradingView (I wanted to test how much the app/widget was draining battery)

For sure, but I got tired of looking at the modern Rolex homages.

I mean the hands-on reviews on YouTube. There’s hours of footage studying this watch inside and out.

It’s basically a faithful tribute to a 1953 Rolex without having the design elements that would be recognizable on modern Rolexes.

This watch is getting rave reviews for the price point: $128 on Amazon. Invicta 31290

I was looking at a lot of ceramic bezels so this highly polished steel bezel threw me off, but I think it’ll be fine.

Learning about it now! I will say that I’m attracted to mechanical watches for the same reasons I like physical art.

I found an orange watch that I like! It’s called Mergulhador MRG3. Apparently it’s a revival of an original 1970’s dive watch.

“Originally designed and produced for both military and civilian use in the Portuguese market, the Mathey-Tissot Merghulador (Merghulador in Portuguese translates to "diver" in English) has, over the years, become a favorite among collectors and enthusiasts of vintage dive watches.”

Less than a month left to see Curve! at the Audain Art Museum in Whistler, B.C. You can see two of Morgan Asoyuf's frontlets in the top right corner (wall), including the Wolf Frontlet that I commissioned in 2017:
