I wish to see the day again when the color of your skin is never in a conversation. Hate to say it but I'm gettin' pissed off at Nostr.. No followers, nobody I'm following populate. The only thing I'm seeing is my own posts.. Global Feed doesn't work and either does the feed for Following.. Three days like this. What is going on?!?!?

I'd say all people have equal opportunities in America right now. Democratic equality? What does that even mean? Democracy is the last thing America needs. Mob rule is another word for democracy. The Founders knew this and didn't like democracy. There will always be social hierarchies. So what. There's always inequalities. So what. As long as individuals respect other individual's unalienable rights to live as they wish that's what's important. Otherwise there's an overseer of some sort defining what 'democratic equality' would mean. No thanks The Constitution seems to be the closest humans have come to nirvana.

The folks living off the gov't check don't realize they've given up their liberty. They think they're entitled. In some way this is what social security & medicare taxation has done to Americans. They feel the govt owes them, and I can't say I disagree. You figure, you're forced to pay tax for literally 50 years in order to have a check come to you in your old age.
