Last time around with Trump's tariffs I don't remember prices going up substantially. Take into account taxes being cut or gone altogether will also play into the overall economy's moves. Getting government spending under control means the FED is no longer debasing the money supply and prices aren't pressured to go up. This would also be a positive to the economy.
