Excited to announce the preview of Lightning Addresses for Mutiny+ users! No more invoice requests needed when paying friends by name directly on Mutiny Wallet.

Providing Lightning Addresses to a non-custodial wallet can be challenging, as they require a web server and constant online presence. To solve this issue, we've integrated Federated Lightning Addresses!

Inspired by Kody Low's Hermes project, our new feature uses ecash locked to your pubkey so only you can spend it when back online. Your wallet listens for DMs on nostr and unlocks tokens once received. Keep an eye out for a deeper dive soon!
To sign up: add a Federation, subscribe to Mutiny+, pick a unique Lightning Address name. Feedback appreciated as we stress test and work out kinks!
Thank you for your support in making this feature possible. We'll integrate it into the sign-up flow at a later time, open up randomly generated Lightning Addresses for everyone, and add more flexibility to change federations.
Enjoy your new payment experience on Mutiny Wallet!

You can zap several notes and then open mutiny afterwards. It’s a non custodial nwc solution? Mutiny can be used on a browser and that might be better for nwc. But don’t let me speak for them, I could be 100% wrong on all of the above. nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg
Correct.
Trying to do some anonymous zapping at some plebs and I find nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 does any longer play nice with nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg.
Why would this be? It’s worked amazingly well in the past.
Bummer.
Something broke on the damus side between damus and mutiny a few months ago.
This has been due to LSP issues, as indicated by the offline channel, and it should be fixed as of tonight. Let us know if the issue persists.

Lightning address it’s here!
Love to see it! ❤️❤️
Are you using mutiny with a federation?
Coming to the next mutiny release!
nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg did gifts get removed from android app? They used to be under Mutiny+ screen but now after the recent update I cannot find them anywhere. Thank you!
Yes, we'll bring it back way better than it was before with something ecash based that will work while you're offline.
Check your channel list in the settings. Does it show offline when there's issue?
If it fails it will be in alby.
Two questions
1) With the nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg app on ios does that eliminate the risk of your cache clearing or whatever it is, where you open it up and better have a state backup?
2) if you do have to restore a wallet, and only have the seed phrase, that means any lightning channels are still locked up, no?
Yes, data persists on the iOS app.
Yes, you can restore with just the seed and still have access to your channels and lightning data.
Looks like they aren't showing pending transactions.

If they were not redeemed by mutiny, it should be returned back to alby. They should show whether it is still pending or not.
This has been reported and we'll take a look. Not sure why this particular release would cause issues, it was working before.
Thanks for this info, really helpful. Will pass along.
Are you on LND or CLN? Just reported it to them.
We've had a lot of reported issues sending in from other wallets over the last few days.
Any lightning channels to our current LSP would be very appreciated.
Did it work? We've been having a lot of reported inbound issues.
Lots of reported issues sending from Phoenix to mutiny. We have some logs to look at but we'll investigate further.
