I’m now a nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg plus user!

Accepting zaps via the lightning address to fedimint works like a charm.

Sending zaps from Damus via NWC has not worked reliably for me. Not sure what I’m doing wrong? So I’m currently using Fedi to send zaps.

Also love the new Zaprite integration. I use Zaprite for my business and will test that integration soon. Though I will likely wait a bit to use it in production for monthly client invoices. Payments from one federation often failed. But it’s still early days and I’m sure these issues will be ironed out soon.

Anyway awesome work to the Mutiny team!

Great to hear!

The damus NWC integration has been flaky for months and we're unsure why.

Let us know if there's anything we can do to make it better from the merchant perspective. We're excited to enable this use case more.

Last bitcoin meetup I setup 2 individuals with nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg. They got to experience their first lightning send and receive ever. Only hiccup was someone else tried to send to Mutiny from Strike (which doesn’t currently work because of some LND bug?).

We're communicating with them. They should hopefully have a fix soon.

We joined the Onramp team for a new episode of Final Settlement, out now!

nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg why does my mutiny lightning channel have 0 sat outbound, and 4k sat in receive, and 90k sat in reserve? I can't send anything

Because reserves need to be available for on chain fees when the channel closes. Unfortunately that's really high right now. We explain this on the channel page.

You can't adjust this. Your channel reserve needs to be available to close the channel on chain. On chain fees are really high. That bleeds into your spendable balance.

Can you scroll down from that page? Might need to add a federation in the profile screen first.

It should be on both the mutiny subscription confirmation page and on the profile page.

Needless to say, don't try to open channels for awhile. Use fedimint if you need to.

Would you rather your phone brick? Because that's what is happening. Feel free to revert to the previous version and provide logs and reproduction steps when it happens.

You're always free to use the self custody part anyways. Turn off the federation if that's what is important to you.
