I’d started taking the dog on 3 mile walks in the morning. Combine that with trying to do the deep squat (Asian squat, flat footed squat sit), and somehow I strained one of my hip flexors.

It started to hurt to walk on level ground. The pain radiated to my glute & shin, so something was wrong.

I’d started down the peptide rabbit hole just a few days before & sure enough: there is a peptide for that.

I got done BPC-157 & TB-500 (blend) and started injecting it in the fat just above the strained hip flexor.

Believe it or not, walking felt normal within 36 hours.

To be clear:

I was also stretching before the dog walk so maybe that did it, but I really attribute the quick turnaround to the peptides.

I started Retatrutide 3 weeks ago.

Week one: 0.5 mg

I took it on Sunday.

By Monday morning felt like I didn’t need to eat anything. Not full. Just satisfied. By Thursday night i was hungry. And Friday night i was hungry again.

I eat OMAD, so being hungry wasn’t unusual, but Tuesday & Wednesday i had to make myself eat, whereas I was seeking food a bit on Thursday, and then in earnest on Friday.

Up until Thursday I’d eaten 1 pound of 80/20 ground beef mixed with 4-5 tbsp of cream cheese split across MTW. No sensation of being deprived of food. I just wasn’t hungry.

Week two: 0.75 mg

I bumped it up because if how it had mostly worn off by Thursday. Again I only ate 1-1.5 lbs of ground beef & cream cheese. This is entirely without feeling like I was hungry.

By Friday I was hungry & eating a full meal.

Week three: 0.75 mg

Same dose. Another pound of ground beef & cream cheese. I ate the whole pound in be sitting this week, but without urgency. More like I knew I wasn’t eating enough so I just did it.

I had a bit of food every day this week, but more like half meals.

I’m not checking the scale, but my jeans started to loosen up during week 2 sometime.

Today was my fourth dose.

I shot 1 mg this morning.

I’ll tell you how it goes in subsequent notes.
