Let’s build more micro app, less super apps.
I think PoW has its place in nostr, but not as spam protection.
I believe PoW can be used to interject signal into a noisey feed (potentially for ML algorithms to pick up).
For example
- You could spend time and energy to mine a high pow event id to boost a post that you saw recently
- PoW boost makes for a true signal over noisey zaps as zaps can easily be gamed for popularity (sending yourself zaps)

We need more than a bot that replies to us… we need a bot swarm we all collectively control and incentivize (so they don’t incentivize us!)
And have it distributed globally and freely. Anyone with a cpu can run Dalai for free without installing anything (just run an executable and get the model for free from a bittorrent).

The project aims to build a v4v marketplace for generative language models #AI. The code will be released into the public domain, hopefully by the end of the week
You mentioned that you want badges to go underneath the profile picture. I’m worried about the effects this “status symbol” view might have on the quality of posts and maintaining the culture of the community.

#nostrica has inspired me to be more open on social media. I’ve always been just a lurker, but now I have a voice. I met so many wonderful people these past days. We were all there for a different, but deep and passionate reason.
I’ve always been afraid of the Algorithm, but now with nostr I don’t have to be. It is truly freeing. The keys to the citadel have been returned to the people.
