Latest QRP kit, always amazed at how little you need for digital comms with a modern lower power rig. And this includes 3 antenna options and a tuner. Could downsize further.

Needs a bumper cage

Not a fan of more bulk/weight. What’s your QRP kit?

That’s a nice looking setup. Can you sign BTC transactions over the air with it? I’ve seen people

Post that it’s possible but don’t understand it. That blows my mind. 🤙🏻

Sweet! I used to have a ham license but it expired. How would you recommend getting back into it as a bitcoiner nostrich? I’m a dev and would love to work on open source initiatives to build open protocols on ham radio (for grassroots disaster management, eg) 📻📡🌊

I don't know if they are still doing it but during covid they were allowing the test to be taken remotely

Which radio is this?

I have a K2 and the K3 and love them for QRP

That's an ICOM IC-705, the best digital QRP rig going right now. OH8STN Julian is who to see about it...

Sweet rig for sure!

That’s a IC-705. I also run a KX3 for QRP, lovely radio, shit UX LOL

Yeah, UX does take some getting used to. I also kinda still love my Ft-817

The 817 is the OG QRP, Yaesu just discontinued the 81* line. Curious what they come up with next. I prefer Yaesu.

Cool stuff, whats its optimal weather range?

ICOM should re-release the 705 with USB-C.

What do you do with it exactly? 😯

Talk to ppl.
