You don't need a separate computer for a Bitcoin node, you can just install Bitcoin core on whatever computer you already have.

The benefit is you are fully sovereign and don't depend on anyone else's computer to validate and broadcast transactions and improve your privacy (another node doesn't see your xpub)

Bought a Tricolate Brewer and am going to try drinking black filter coffee. I stopped having sugar with coffee a few years ago but I want to cut down a little on the amount of milk I am drinking. I’ve mostly had coffee with milk in the past so I don’t have a lot to compare it to but this actually tasted pretty good.

Life is weird right now.

After way too much food (and too much crappy hospital food) this month, I took a break and have been fasting since Christmas evening. I likely won't go a full 48 hours, but, I'll break my fast at lunch today. Being able to fast is a physical superpower. I will also be fasting on Saturday, not for physical reasons, and I really don't like to use the word "spiritual" as it is correct but has been hijacked, in my opinion. Anyway... Not needing food so often is useful and beneficial in my limited experience.

Anyway, it's 1*F here, and I'm the first one up in the house so I got the wood stove going. Have some ambiance:
