Profile keys have no value upon first creation. Their value grows only over time, as a user creates content with them.
State briefly and unambiguously the importance of key privacy. “Do not share with friends. Do not copy and paste into browsers. Lost is lost.” And then let people loose their keys.
Give great experiences, and they will come back.

Lol. I too had to look it up. Not one for million dollar phrases, esp in the context of “putting one in their place” and all that. Once I saw the definition (as linked) and realized that I just got told off for being the “listening and understanding” type, I also had to laugh. It’s so true!

I would, If PWA login was secure.
On iOS, without dedicated nostr browser like Spring, mobile web clients are less valuable as one of many browser tabs. Nostur is my goto until PWA login gets fixed.
Looking forward to NIP-46 key management as a native app. Will open doors to many web clients on mobile!!

This is why I am targeting special interest “freedom allied” IRL orgs and groups that don’t already have a freedom respecting online home.
General audience adoption will always be a longer haul. Yet people will follow their friends and collaborators onto a new platform. Shorten the reach by building small, performant, and “bug free” bespoke solutions to bring these groups closer to The Nostr.
