I remember writing a game in machine code back in the day, where you’d type in commands. A text based adventure. It was massive fun writing it and learning along the way. ICQ, BBS, AOL, Gopher, IRC and FidoNet all bring back memories - I might be older than many in this chat and since it’s only a number - 52. The meaning of life plus 1 decade!!!
I recognise the location of the second photo, West Highlands somewhere? Ranoch Moor?
Looks like the number of people I’m following vs being followed by is levelling out. I’ve never seen that happen elsewhere. Even at under 100 for both stats, I think this is an interesting metric.
Chessington World of Adventures Theme Park with the family today. A wedding on Thursday.
GM - fun day ahead, fun times this week
Happy Birthday EC!
Lovely lovely Madeira! Enjoy!
Like your thinking!
Probably true!!!
It’s frustrating. Every year I get a higher number and that’s mad!
I’m intrigued to find out if there are many synth nerds on Nostr, mainly because I plan to write notes on my synth explorations here. This morning I was having a conversation, or listening into one about Pd, PureData, which is very much based on MXP by the looks of things, a visual tool for developing sound processors, synths and all of that kind of thing.
I’ve found an iOS version that I can run on my iPad as part of my synth studio, that is called PlugData, which looks like this.
It’s great that Fountain is now a Nostr client because it’s easier for me now to share music of my own. This track was posted to Wavlake and as such picked up via Fountain and now pushed out to Nostr.
Very neat. Love this.

Checking out the update to Fountain which I’ve been using for awhile now and amassed a decent amount of Sats with it too. Checking out Proton’s new things…. It’s all happening!
GM - another fine day here on planet Nostr (or Earth of course)

Looks really good and hope you all have a great conf!
It depends on the app you use and which relays are added to its config, I believe. So right now I’m using Dani’s which is four or five relays on the go. Which one is used for my outgoing posts and replies? Not sure. I guess the notes that I see come in from all of those five relays.
Learning on the go and interested in building a relay of my own, just to learn more about them from a developer/engineering perspective.
Out of curiosity what do you run your streams on?
