Just updated Primal and liking the look of the update. Let’s test with some photos, as this has been an issue for me recently.
Group selfie on top of Snowdon, taken with my insta360 camera and the Tiny Planet effect.
It’s been applied to the post, so that my frens is good!

I shall also grab some stills from the video I recorded on the Snowdon train and edit the video footage of the trip over the weekend. I shot a lot of it!!
We made it up to the summit of Snowdon and it was somewhat hazy and my favourite landscape shot was this one. Wrong time of day really but we were on holiday and the experience was incredible. https://nostrcheck.me/media/dfc7c7853f6b71b6b3c6b527767a0b98dece231ba4a5aabbeecb2e034c3c6174/6be75176c3e4fe60c3cd1b31a0979512eb2cbb1da86fa08bd8b3009d31a4ccff.webp
A couple days ago we were staying in the heart of Snowdonia at the base of Snowdon itself. Took a bit of a walk to the nearby lake where the famous “Lone Tree” can be found. However there was a bit of a problem, Netflix were filming right next to it but a friendly local showed me around a small barrier to its location. This shot was pretty much a grab shot, in and out before someone hassled me. You might see in the photo, a slight distraction, a giant floating pontoon being moved into position for a piece of the set to be lowered onto it. Later on when driving away we watched them lower a wooden boat onto it for night filming I can only guess. Later on we found out that the film being made, is for an upcoming season of The Witcher!
Anyway here is my photo. Perhaps my best grab shot ever.
Why do photos I upload to this app just vanish. It’s so frustrating.
Just two days ago I photographed “The Lone Tree” despite it being cordoned off by Netflix for film production. Later found out they’re filming The Witcher at the moment. It’s a stunning location and I’ve my friend Paul to thank for reminding me of its existence.
Classic BBC writing. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwyl171lyewo
Mother Nature just tried zapping our house. That was a scary storm. Freaked me out.
That makes sense. A lot of people refer to Yorkshire as Gods Country but my Grandad used to refer to Cornwall as such. So we’ve always taken his word for it, even many years after he died we still do.
It’s interesting to gauge these different behaviours and Hive has had similar issues with down voters.
Good morning from sunny Snowdonia and we are about to depart for home. It’s been a gorgeous week. Will find the best way to share a lot of photos here on Nostr plus some videos I’ve captured.
It’s been interesting comparing Nostr with the Hive blockchain that does support Lightning via its v4v.app. Over there they have a reputation system which tracks the good and bad users, penalises them by reducing what they can earn. There are many differences too but it’s fun using both platforms in slightly different ways. Both support the v4v philosophy.
Are you originally from Wales? My ancestry is firmly routed in this glorious country
Ffestiniog Railway. We’ve been very lucky with the weather this week and one of the highlights so far has been the old railway trip. Got a few photographs and some video which I’m going to edit when I get back home, as we travel back tomorrow.
Gorgeous views of the mountains from the park nearby. https://nostrcheck.me/media/dfc7c7853f6b71b6b3c6b527767a0b98dece231ba4a5aabbeecb2e034c3c6174/9020caee36b4371ee76f3c65f4936be2f6e9ecfb421896302e55711bf4e97e6d.webp
I’ve a similar one? Does it mean something?!!
Walked across the incredible Pontcysyllte Aquaduct in North Wales. Towering above the River Dee, filmed on my Insta360 and grabbed some stills from the footage. You need a bit of a head for heights for this one. I’ll share the video at a later point:-)
Sounds fun and it’s a great show that one.
That’s given me an idea for a future outing! Thanks for the link. Ventnor is a favourite of ours, love it there and the weather is often nice there. Seems to have a micro climate.
