Not the best photo but it features a sea plane flying over at a ridiculous low altitude. Never like aircraft flying too low for too far, they should be up high in the sky!

It was the Catalina, a very rare flying boat that I’ve only ever seen at the Farnborough air shows in the past. It’s 78 years old and was built in the Second World War. Built in Canada for operation along coastlines, to attack enemy supply ships.

I found a better photo of it online. To share here.

Wow that is one hell of a cool boat. A steamer of some sort?

I honestly think nostr:nprofile1qqspwwwexlwgcrrnwz4zwkze8rq3ncjug8mvgsd96dxx6wzs8ccndmcpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qtxwaehxw309anxjmr5v4ezumn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tmwwp6kyvt6w46kz6nyxa6nxumc8pu82wfj09shvwt2wau8qu3cxvukxuesdd3nxufkws6nvanyx46njufsxvehsmtgwd4nvcejw43n7cnjdaskgcmpwd6r6arjw4jszxrhwden5te0dehhxarj9enx6apwwa5h5tnzd9az77vr4lw Telegram alternative is going to quickly become the worlds most used nostr client. There's a billion tg users happy to jump ship, particularly if someone can make a bridge for transitioning groups, and a bot father alternative.

I like the idea that this could be a great option for our family and circle of friends. Getting them into Nostr would be amazing.

Shit I’m becoming a maximalist.

What the heck? Pesos! My wife bought some in Marks and Spencer’s today as the rate was good. We are going to Mexico next month, so making sure we’ve got some cash but I’m hoping to use Lightning a little bit whilst there, that will be incredible. Destination, Playa del Carmen on the Caribbean coast.

My wife wants to give Bitcoin/Lightning a go too, I hope to convince many people on this front as it happens.

Details of an old steam engine at the outlet centre Swindon. I love these old things and would happily create a book of typography, signs and other memorabilia.

I’d say…. Yes, for a laugh!

I always walk past this on my morning walks, a gnarly old tree root that by my estimation is as old as some of the repeats on iplayer.

It’s a marvellous thing nonetheless.
