Playing with Logic Pro for iPad which has been updated to 2.1 this past week, loads of new features and I will dig a bit deeper into these- in the meantime, here is something I conjured up last week.

A podcast would be a great idea. I’m working on one for my music but might expand out into indie development, OSS and that sort of thing too. Inspired by so many great podcasts I listen to and throw v4v into the mix and BOOM!!!

I’m using voltage at the moment but might switch to something that I can run myself. Toying with how to RSS my website to self host some audio. Though I do love RSS Blue but the software engineer in me is screaming out- build your own tools!!

The skeletal shape of autumn nature.

So much interesting history to be found wherever we walk, sometimes you’d never notice until someone explains - there are some interesting artefacts along our local canal, which for years I just thought were random lumps of concrete but were in fact used as anti-tank efforts, in case the Nazis did land on our shores and offload armoured vehicles.

I will see if I can find some again and take some photos.

Totally agreed and with the politics people are subjected to there, they are having a hard time.

I have been trying to do more videos and have a go at YouTube but with my 69 subscribers, I’m not convinced it will get anywhere but then the other side of my brain, the fuck it side which in the past has led me to mischievous things, feels that with some consistent effort for awhile and ignoring the numbers until I reach the 500 people threshold, I will probably be on a good trajectory?

I do however have decent growth on Substack for my Modulations newsletter which is about electronic music on the iPad and a second newsletter called ā€œRambling Photographerā€ and stand a better chance with those.

Apart from that keen to do more with Nostr, as the technological advances here are unhindered by corporate strategy but by those who want to make a difference to the world.

I’m excited for the opportunity here.

They always say, keep going until you’d normally go to bed so daytime flights out to the Americas are probably easier and then back on a night flight if possible. I hate sleeping on planes though, don’t know how people can - pretty sure it might depend on which part of the aircraft you sleep on though, if travelling economy, which for me that’s always the case.

Seriously cool photos

Jetlag is a crazy thing, flying to Mexico from London was not too bad, one nights sleep and sorted, whereas coming back and to with the clocks going back, daylight hours suddenly being three hours shorter too - it’s a right killer, does strange things and I was waking up at around 3am thinking it was time to start the day

This is uncanny, because I was listening to Smith and Sniff, a podcast occasionally about cars earlier this week when they talked about this, I will have to listen to the recent episodes to remind myself which one it was - wasn’t it because the Americans or the government at the time; unhappy about the successes of the Japanese motoring manufacturers flooding the market with their wares decide to tax the hell out of all imports?

There is a pub just outside Pangbourne which is currently closed and appears to be undergoing a refurb, I suspect might have been caused by some bad floods we had either late last year or early this.

Not long before that all happened I took this photograph as we ate there and had a very nice meal.

It had been a stormy day and the rain had cleared up and gone, leaving this lovely light as a gift!
