founder of the gopher milk factory https://geyser.fund/project/gophermilkfactory Go and Bitcoin maximalist remnant living in Madeira and working to help the free humans connect with each other.

i've been reading Book of Enoch and Vishnu Purana recently and seeing this word "luminaries" a lot. usually means literal stars, but also planets.

i am of the opinion that the free nostr network, as opposed to the fiatjaf zebedee fake freedom tech centralised network will require a lot more work on building easy to manage personal relays.

and it's an instant business model to offer a VPS service with scripted deployment for people so they basically manage it through a simple web interface, and always have full access to every bit of data on it via FTP or SSH.

and the simple systems administration stuff, almost anyone can learn it. only assholes who want to do bad things to you or lord over you or seem bigger than they are are saying you shouldn't try.

just as stupid as people who say you shouldn't run your own bitcoin full node. lol.

welcome to team freedom!

slow and steady wins the race.

nostr is not built yet, and us devs need this quiet space (haha) to focus on our work. a LOT of devs buidling for nostr are talking on nostr.

if normies are ok with being spied on and censored, then it makes no sense for those who don't like being spied on and censored to lust after having them adopt nostr.

not the same equation as getting them to adopt bitcoin and lightning at all. bitcoin is a maze of traps for normies because of the government, they mean to keep them out of it. lightning is another thing. lightning seems like it could be a permeable membrane that brings normies to the real world where they learn slowly about how rigged the system is.

the only interest i have in seeing normie adoption, therefore, is LN.

they eventually swamp everything given enough time, no need to wish it to happen faster and kill the intimacy of a small, aligned group.

nostr:npub13ql75nq8rldygpkjke47y893akh5tglqtqzs6cspancaxktthsusvfqcg7's Noagenda.social is blocked by almost every single group/server in the fediverse. I’m blocked by many of these same servers simply because I’m a member of noagenda.social. nostr:note1ear5f8n0qhg9pd5fnjljjqtsldxs600uazvs9sqze0amput4wlssk2687g

who needs a fediverse anyway. relays are more lightweight and you can easily build your own custom rig with a little bit of programming skill

"normal person" who knows how to use tor, yes, you can keep your identity private. though you should be aware that everything you say can create links to your real identity.

oh yeah... when i had my first punjena pljeskavica na cumur with kajmak and ljutenica on somun with zelena salata lol... i remember it vividly, a little place in Novi Sad near bulevard oslobodenije lol, i forget how to spell these things it's been a few years.

serbia made me very sad when they stopped running teh trains, and last time i was in beograd they had shut down the central railway station, it was so beautiful, so much of it still from another, older, better time, in many ways. i remember first time alighting there and going to this funny cafe that had an old CRT playing old serbian TV dramas and serving Lav and Jelen beer hehe.

i was working in serbia with marcetin, if you know the bitcointalk forums, on parallelcoin, 2018-2020, but i was in Banja Luka for 4 months in that period as well, and then i spent a year in bulgaria, sofia and then varna, and then ~8 months in Sarajevo.

the food in bosnia is amazing, the best in the world imo. i think overall the northeast parts, republica srspska, have better quality standards. it was pretty good in Sarajevo tho, beautiful landscape too.

that's not the purpose of it.

if you don't want it known, don't publish it.

the point of nostr is nobody can stop you publishing it.

i lived in bosnia, serbia and bulgaria, and they are crazy on the dairy in those places. bosnia is the best though, for meat (grass fed beef is normal) and for dairy. they make this amazing chese called 'Livanski Sir' - it's based on a swiss recipe for hard cheese, i would try to make something like that out of goat... unpasteurised of course.

and the rest of them... if you've never had "kaimak" - it's basically cheese before it starts to harden, like under a week old, and white cheese, like feta.

sheep is good too, for cheese especially, because it is so high in fat but goat is also very good. goat milk is the best for general nutrition, it has the highest levels of fibre and vitamin C in it.

i prefer the goat though. they are just more amusing critters and their meat is more gamey, sorta like part way towards venison. if one is milking them there is going to be boys born and they need to be castrated and raised to be slaughtered later at whatever point they make the best... like sheep and cow, probably in the second year sometime is when they are optimal greasy and textured.

as soon as i can get myself a little patch first thing i'm doing is getting 3 nannies and a billy goat. i want raw GOAT milk. forget about raw cow milk, goats milk has more vitamin C and fibre in it, it's the ideal food and they eat anything that grows out of the ground.

idk what to say - if one of your great-great-great-great-great grandpappys was a psychopath, but nobody else in your bloodline was, does that make you a psychopath? especially, consider the case of rape, evil ones rape. raped women have babies. the women sometimes escape, and the child is not raised in the presence of the psychopaths.

having relatives who are psychopathic doesn't make you psychopathic. psychopathy is an acquired syndrome, and it's the central feature of what the whole long story arc of the last 12000 years since the great flood (meteorite strikes) are about.

there's a lot more to the story but that's the essential insight i want to address in your horror that you might be descended from a demon somewhere way back.

they aren't aliens, they are our ancestors and cousins. but yes.

not very good and not specifically studied it but i sorta know a few languages and have a good memory. grammar and semantics are very important for programming though.

you may have heard of the concept of a "cargo cult", which came from a primitive tribe that first encountered modern people in the form of an fighter pilot.

primitive minds, and the mangling of stories via chinese whispers style corruption could easily explain that what we call gods were actually just people with high tech shit.

like when the aztecs saw cortez for the first time, they thought the gods had returned.

to them, the gods had white skin, and devices that made big loud flashes that kill things. probably they had clean clothes too. and they probably understood that their puny weapons were worthless anyhow. this wasn't the battle hardened zulus, this was a culture that hadn't seen white people probably in at least hundreds of years (the movement of people between south america and europe/africa is likely to have happened a lot more than our history books recognise, because there is a whole chain of islands and a thick ridge that you can sail between them with pretty low tech stuff).

plenty of cool time travel stories that make some interesting points about this too, there is a series of stories in the Doctor Who episodes that relate to this sort of phenomenon.

resource exhaustion via recursion is even more awesome. i dunno if you have tried that but i bet amethyst does some cool things when you quote quote quote and then go back to an old quote and quote that quote ina new quote and quote some more quotes from the first quote with all those quotes inside it.

i hope this causes pandora's box to open.

do it, quote chain. break all the poorly coded clients so the devs learn some basic programming skills.

the classic cliche doubt against God - 'why does He let people suffer' is quite vicious, actually.

the answer should be obvious - and it's clearly stated in numerous places that "the elect" who prove themselves to be righteous are getting protection, and a reward.

several different books and even in other texts outside of christianity and judaism make similar allusions.

the reason why we suffer here is because we are being tested.

do you want to live in a place where this kind of evil is not in control? then you have to live through it and not be turned by it.

only the immune can be sure to not spread it.

keeping errors from creeping into the code is a very very heavy labor.

i'd rather not see the sickness i see in the world around me get one inch further into the rest of the universe than it already has, tyvm. it's worth it just on that basis alone.

and if this is all a story i am telling myself, and when the light goes out, there is nobody home anymore, that's good too. but i just now don't anymore believe that version of the story, of the absence of spirit. because it's not useful.

if goodness cannot be conserved, then it's worthless trying to conserve it. but if it was worthless to conserve it, why is it that everything clearly depends on and rides on the shoulders of those who conserve goodness?

i had a kind of epiphany back in 2015 in budapest about this, that what we call "God" is the sum of all the goodness, and that what is good lasts forever.
