i've also contributed a small part to it, which integrates nostr keys to make proper secure signatures, which will be part of the authentication of the decentralised Git hosting system that the HORNET storage relay will do.
my work is at https://github.com/mleku.signr
i could really do with some donations at the moment, but nostr:nprofile1qqs9njktmqadt322myw6eag6f8qxuzl0wv9vpe7zxkn0d73fhy3s7qspr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezumt4w35ku7thv9kxcet59e3k7mf0qyvhwumn8ghj7mrfva58gmnfdenhyetvv9ujucm0d5hsz8mhwden5te0dehhxarj94ex2mrp0yhxgetjv44hymmnwvhx6ef0gsgz6z and nostr:nprofile1qqsth3eu4eq4qtw667jpzfvxmjh5gg5pp4s25j6hccmue5d8g6c8s3qpzpmhxue69uhkztnwdaejumr0dshsz9nhwden5te0vfjhvmewdehhxarjxyhxxmmd9uq3wamnwvaz7tmzd96xxmmfdejhytnnda3kjctv9ump7crd also need some funds to keep themselves above water while they are building the system. there is applications for funding via opensats but every sat helps. thanks :D
cats eyes can see in low light because they are so reflective inside. i think that's almost as good.
circa 2016, there used to be an option:
https://www.trishtech.com/2016/12/how-to-completely-disable-drm-videos-in-mozilla-firefox/
i'd add to that, probably widevine DRM can be exploited in some way that we can't know because closed sauce.
i'm just using https://webextension.org/listing/block-site.html and just blocking any site that causes mozilla to vomit a DRM snackbar at the top of the page from now on.
it happens on spotify previews, this i have confirmed, and open.spotify.com is on my block list permanently now.

dear mozilla,
take your DRM and shove it up your arse.
sincerely,
mleku
ok, i have now discovered that by blocking open.spotify.com, a site that shows up on web previews from certain users posting music on coracle, that it was causing my browser to block my ability to get screenshots from my OS screenshot app (the gnome one, though i don't run gnome).
by blocking open.spotify.com using a site blocker, so that this DRM crap doesn't load up on coracle, i now can screenshot properly.
couldn't figure it out but now i know.
librewolf does not disable this functionality. brave does. shame that brave is a shitcoin.
shame that mozilla, even the "spy-free" variant doesn't remove DRM.
interfering with my ability to explicitly request HTML5 canvas which is rendering on my display is um.. yeah a bit creepy. i have script access to canvas silently blocked now. no bastard software has the right to stop me capturing the pixels that paint on my screen. period. not ok, not in any form or shape.

or have i got that backwards. lol! i'm alwaays getting things backwards and off-by-one.
i'm pretty sure anything mod one is the whole number part and to remove it you then need to subtract this from the result, so you'd have to repeat the formula with a subtract
p1^2 = (p1*p2)-((p1*p2) mod 1)
i forget what the precedence of mod is, i think it's commutative to multiply/divide thus the braces. also, mod(dividend, divisor) is programming function notation, i'm pretty sure in math notation you use mod as an infix.
i'm pretty foggy on all these things to be honest, i rarely have to decipher math notation to write algorithms, usually someone else already did that and i just copy/adapt it.
i found a way to eliminate this also.
install this plugin:
and then right click and the menu lets you block the embed, which has the domain open.spotify.com
and now i don't see this annoying message.
i recommend you use music services that don't stop downloading of their files. youtube and bandcamp both don't use DRM and don't stop you downloading. there's an app on linux called "video downloader" which can not only download the video, or just the audio of a video, or just audio of audio, as well as playlists, both on youtube and bandcamp.
i suppose spotify has its convenient browsing and playback controls but just letting you know that they DRM.

did you know that link uses Widevine DRM?
I thought that installing LibreWolf would mean this plugin was disabled but no, it's there, and it has a non-negotiable, non-self-removing snackbar pop up that chews up a bunch of my tiny screen real estate every time these kinds of links come up.
this version doesn't:
in my 7th grade class, it was the people in the back who got it first, cos they sorted the chair locations by test results in ascending order.
watch out, he might grow another 5 and then you'll have a spider.
would someone please get a fire extinguisher for that poor bird?
like apple users, who apple deliberately trains its users to not understand the difference between an application and a protocol, by leaving out the word 'client' in the names of many things. amongst other word tricks they use to trap people's minds inside the iFog of war.
so, i found out just now while generating a meme why i was having some problems with images not uploading correctly.
HTML5 canvas access.
this is a functionality that essentially allows a web script to take a snapshot of your web page. it could be used, for example, to capture a revealed password text if the malicious injected script was able to also watch the mouse position and click state and grab nearby areas when mouse events occur, which would be such as clicking the 👁️ next to a password field.
i don't think it's a trapboor function but rather a form of asymmetric cipher, it's not too distantly different from an elliptic curve.

y^2=x^3+a*x+b
your equation is:
p1^2 = (p1*p2)%x)
mod 1 is um... 1. i'm using the simple modulo notation % meaning "remainder", which is sorta like one step of a modulo, more or less the same operation, at least, one cycle of a clockwork arithmetic system. that mod value tells you the potential number of values that could be valid for y, relative to how p2 relates to it.
i'm used to working with these things in code not so much in math. the finite field is a different shape to the field of real numbers.

i see no reason why the 5th of november
ever should be forgot
apologies if i mangled that. been a while since I saw v for vendetta.
here is an example of a typical apple user who thinks #nostr is an application:
