it should be a human right to slap stupid people in the face too! how can you say that such a stupid thing to say as we need plastic bottles of water to give them away to people not deserve a slap in the face? i am offended.

most of the water is bottled needlessly when the springs are near where people need the stuff... surprisingly, that's why the places got populated.

well, don't bother with portugal, just skip that whole europe thing and come to the middle of the atlantic :D

the cli and gui don't either. but the database is the same format, two files, i just hard linked them together. my guess is there would be a way to make the mobile do it too, probably the same format.

ya'll need to come to Bitcoin Atlantis: nprofile1qqst6jckhsy8t7z6gr4pxjcrp4cutfc445xw5h6384fuutwkn82ymxqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qg3waehxw309ahx7um5wgh8w6twv5hssu3m4c

it's half way between europe and usa and at least the flight from the UK was like $200.

it's a little expensive for transport and accommodation but food is cheap and there's loads to see.

only advice is: get fit before you come because the hikes are pretty epic and worth the training.

Go is the nearest thing to that.

the rest of the languages are closer to Klingon or something.

ok, this strfry last commit was 2 weeks ago, so i doubt that trawling the commits is gonna help here. i can only assume this is a perl versioning issue:

457.5 perl golpe/external/templar/templar.pl src/tmpls/ strfrytmpl build/StrfryTemplates.h

457.7 Parse error: $VAR1 = [

457.7 'Expected closing tag for , but found \'\' instead'

457.7 ];

457.7 make: *** [Makefile:11: build/StrfryTemplates.h] Error 255

i surrender. will gib build ubuntu base nau.

hurrah... there is a small possibility that i have found all the perl dependencies of strfry relay, which is written in C++, but requires an inordinate amount of perl things, probably because of LMDB, the memory mapped database engine.

i'm laughing because i don't see why they had to use such an obscure database engine when leveldb works great on Bitcoin and about a thousand other shitcoin projects that have retarded amounts of data going into the database engine that don't really exceed the insanity of nostr, but ok.

another 7 minute break while i wait for another C++ compilation.

i first used orbot back in the days of android 4, circa 2010 or so. it better be smooth by now!

a phone that has been embedded with spycrap for a telephone company.

so, i'm almost finished writing a Dockerfile that builds strfry within an arch container.

it just bombed out after 444 seconds (over 7 minutes) to report to me that i failed to put some retarded PERL thing into the image.

yes i'm gonna go check the PKGBUILD now, i've obviously omitted some yet another critical perl thing that nothing up to this point in the build flagged as a problem for being absent.

if you build C++ software, and don't provide a dockerfile that spits out a binary, you are going to hell. straight to hell.

i'm only doing this because i know that the majority of people who see this stuff are oblivious wokesters whose mind is in some la la land where the world is full of overpaid developers who can afford the latest intel processor and 5ghz 50 channel memory chips, and like to have sword fights in their lab with their coworkers because "compiling".

there was this funny little language that was invented in the same year as Bitcoin. it can spit out binary for such a simple thing as this, from scratch, with everything in source, in a matter of 20 seconds.

not something that gives me reason to look for something to do like shitposting about how fucking stupid C++ programmers are.

ok, back to the grindstone. the perl dependency will be found and added and another 7 minutes to just find out if I covered it.

normalize multipolar social graphs.

stop following the same attention whores. they are warping your mind.

they know that the luminaries are coming back soon to end the rule of the dark ones.

the things i am learning while figuring out how to work with strfry in arch without using the AUR build for it.

yes there is an AUR build hahah i should just be using it.

but strfry is a function for scrambling the order of characters in a string.

the thing that the rockstar devs of nostr don't want you to remember is that rockstars are created by media companies, they craft their image and their memes to generate screaming crowds of groupies, which all of this is exactly a type of cult.

if you are worshiping a rockstar you are a groupie, and to anyone outside your little bubble you look like a whore.

so, my first rodeo with strfry, as prior *posts* portended.

it's C++, yes, but also perl. its build dependencies are a list that is going to take me some time to divine through probing. oh, you might say 'that's your fault for stubbornly choosing to use arch linux instead of shuttleworth's perversion of debian, i mean ubuntu'. yes, i chose this path, because fuck ubuntu.

i think it's a better question to ask 'why do i have to install a bunch of obscure perl dependencies to build a C++ application?'
