I WILL NEVER EAT BUGS 😁 😅

"Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner”? - Heat

I love this quote. I live my life by it. Don't get too attached to anything, not because of any "heat", but because it'll fuck you up when it ends. Seeing someone that I care about get sick and die is too much for me. You've gotta be built different to endure that. Owning a dog comes with the understanding that eventually that will happen. I think it's too much for me. My parents dog, Shadow, who helped me, was a great friend to me, has a month if lucky left. I saw him today over zoom, he looked good, normal, but he is dying. I don't know if I want to see him again, it might be too much for me. It's gonna be terrible losing him, but I've distanced myself from him moving out a few years ago. I don't know what I would do if I still lived with him while he came to his conclusion. I'm not built for that

Does any1 have recommendations for learning helm k8s?

was trying to free up space on my router so i deleted a package i thought i installed, ended up corrupting the router, now i gotta set router up from scratch 😅

how to automate cleaning appartment

digital governments - where you can see different issues/news/etc for your government an interactive platform

i think the move from docker swarm to k8s was a mistake for 90 percent of companies. docker swarm can do what k8s does and is much less complicated. self healing? yes multi node? yes. now people need to learn kubectl/helm etc. i think it's too much overhead for 90 percent of cases

should i go to boxing tonight 🤔

Proof humans are inherently good....

20 years ago I lived in Vietnam for a year. It was an amazing experience full of noise, hustle, hassle, amazing food, struggle and much more. At the time the country was very poor. Life wasn't worth much and it was a real struggle for people to survive.

Robbery was common. You couldn't sleep with your barred window open as people would climb up and reach in to steal things. A friend was once in a motorbike accident and the exhaust pipe of the other bike stabbed into her leg. She was on the ground in a busy intersection before a lady ran up to her to steal her handbag.

If you saw these things happen to you on a holiday in Vietnam it would be easy to conclude that Vietnam has many bad people.

Returning to Vietnam recently I saw that high rise apartments buildings had taken over vacant lots by the beach. The place I used to get a wet shave and haircut on the sidewalk was replaced with a 50 story 5 star hotel complete with infinity pool and swish lobby. I noticed the street hustle had almost gone compared to the Vietnam I remember. A few people asking to buy things but not nearly as much. I accidentally left my watch at a guesthouse. The staff ran after me to give it back. A few months salary just in my watch but they gave it back. Would never have happened 20 years ago

When people are faced with scarcity it breeds struggle and extreme behavior. Once basic needs are met most people will show their true self and personality. I feel like the Vietnam I'm seeing now is one where the people have the freedom to be that better person and not have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.

I believe Bitcoin and Nostr will bring abundance and help all of us be the best version of ourselves.

which vietnam do you prefer?

it would be cool if there were a way to translate posts in different languages

the vietnam war was the event that showed me that usa democracy is a sham. teenagers were conscripted to their deaths amidst the peace generation protests. the war lasted 4 terms...2 democrats 2 republicans

<3 not to get too political, but from my POV it's a complicated situation. my family is from western ukrainian ussr and want to split from russia. on the other hand my previous 2 landlords are from russian ussr want to stay with russia.

its interesting that peoples ideologies can be so similar in some ways but so different in others. to the extent of passionate similarities and passionate differences. maybe it has to do with the way people interpret things. propaganda and the people you are exposed to really play a large impact too. it would be interesting to think about this more. there are all different types of people that support BTC

i think its best to focus on those similarities instead of the differences.
