Sourcehut is decent as well. I’ve started to see more people moving over there (including #[5]). I don’t really need the vast majority of the fancy features GitHub offers but Sourcehut is simply ugly and poorly laid out.

Exactly, just for looks I don’t think Rust would win (I personally also don’t like sheer number of chained dot notation statements that happen). Scripting languages almost always win that area. Rust syntax is awesome for the information it exposes. You can look at Rust and immediately see what’s happening and exactly when it happens.
I think Lua looks the best aesthetically. Like a simpler Python.
Rust imo has the best syntax not for looks but for the utility. Always shows you when memory is moving and exactly how.
