You're right, the domination of NOSTR by BTC guys means we can't rely on them for any help. Actually we need to absorb or branch off from their stuff - and run all our own infrastructure. So that's the approach I'm taking.

It's easier to build starting with a passionate community, and then sway over larger apps like Signal I agree with you on that point as well. Good to see alignment there.

Signal is already built for crypto with MOB coin. Fork a version to include bch.

So, these are similar to the btcpayserver arguments.

With all of this stuff opensource, i can't figure out why bcashers consistently ask for bitcoiners help when the code can be modified by bcashers. It's the way Monero does it, they just modify for their own. They did with btcpay & nostr. They even include btc on their nostr!

Platform should be multicoin and let users make the choice, this would even showcase bch plusses.

I put out another release of BChat in the morning (v30/01 00:30).

Will probably be a couple of days before I do another one. If you have any really high priority requests, leave them here for consideration in that release.

I already know image support has been requested a lot, as well as better feed mix of replies and remembering scroll position in the feed.

BChat, as cool as it is, is a major distraction away from what a wallet should do. There are already thousands of chat apps already and adding BCH to anyone of them (Signal, NOSTR) would be a much better use of resources than expecting the world to join BChat.

What IS missing from all of the wallets I've used (many), BCH or otherwise, is an extremely easy to use multisig feature.

This would make escrow standard for all business transactions. It puts credit & warrantees directly in the hands of users.

Just like memo, BChat will have maybe 20 regular users all telling each other how awesome BCH will be once it catches on? That's the same problem unmodified NOSTR has, it's BTC only, and only Lightning "zaps" at that.
