Has this already reached Nostr?

I have trouble figuring out what exactly is meant here. My own idea is that you can have several manifestations of inner senses. You can have them in word, picture, sound, taste and even smell or touch.

I know people that have a constant inner monologue, a non-stop stream of words in their head and have trouble quieting this, reverting to meditation or other relaxation or deviation methods to get some inner peace.

My head is quiet by default. However, I can voice things inside my head but by no means it's continuous, I can reason about things and voice them internally, but a lot of thought processes are abstract, or wordless. They just appear.

I can also see internal images, and to lesser degree taste and touch. Someone I know can remember taste, and describe something she ate or drank, f.e. a wine, from months or even years ago. This is unimaginable for me.

So I just found out that I can see what others have as relays and comparing them to what if have. I just chosen the ones offered in the settings--- network. I'd like to pimp up my wall, newsfeed with thing i wish to see more.

What I understand , i think, is that if I like 'dogs and cats' of 'fried chicken', I can look up a relay on this topic or make one myself? How do i do that? For instance is see this relay on the side atm wss://purplepag.es , but no clue what it doesorhow to find out...

Anyway, I know found out I can go copy relays of others I follow and will see what changes on my newsfeed. I'm testing some of yours bro nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u . This one seems like an obvious choice wss://nostr.orangepill.dev 😉 and the eden one.

But I'd like to find out how to find topics myself. I'm new at this and trying my best to get best out of this #nostr. Seems like a beautiful new thing.

#Newbie here. Which primal app do i need to download to use primal on pc? Web app or server? Now just using on a browser. Is there a video explaining how in a simple way improve use?

Yea, so admittedly this is conceptually different than when you're dealing with a traditional social media app that effectively uses 1 "relay" owned and controlled by the same people that create the app. They can say "hey when you click delete we promise we'll delete it" (although that's a shallow promise also, they keep everything, they just are saying they won't show it to other users")

Which app are you using? Some apps and relays do support "deletion requests" and post edits.

"Deletion requests" are called deletion *requests* because the app can't force all relays to delete your post. The app author and relay owner are different parties. A "request" is the best the app can do.

Edits are somewhat similar. When you edit a post on Nostr you're really creating a new post and the apps just understand how to replace the old with the new when they pull the posts down from the relays. But the ability to do this is up to the app.

I did click on most relays offered in the settings and my newsfeed seems to be getting somewhat more diverse in content, maybe also as I follow more people.. So if I would like to get content on lets say 'knowledge of editable plants and their health benefits' or 'how to prepare and cook chicken properly'so it aint dry', is there a relay for that?, and where do I find that? 🙏

Put simply, Nostr doesn't support deleting posts. All you can do is "ask" relays to remove your post. *If* you can do this and how you do it depends on your client/app.

It’s really simple actually:

• live below your means

• put all of the extra into #Bitcoin

• get out of the mindset that you are selling a profitable investment, it is better money. Don’t sell good money for shit money ever.

• nothing about the above means never use it for bettering your life, and of course you’ll likely need the dollar network to use it. But you aren’t “selling BTC for dollars,” you are using the dollar network so you can use a portion of your real money to get a home for your family, clear out high burden debts, etc

• it doesn’t mean never touch your BTC, it means measure your wealth in BTC and do everything you can to always grow your sats balance, 10x more so during the monetization phase where value returns are massive.

• If you can defer a cost that isn’t important for a few years. Do it wherever you can.

When I onboard a new bitcoiner, and they ask what I think the price is going to do:

If they just bought, I tell them it’s going to dump immediately after. Then if they try to sell some, it’s going to pump immediately after.

I tell them to expect it to do the exact opposite of what they want, when they want, so stop thinking about the price, because what you are doing is owning an irrevocable part of our future, global monetary system. Measure your worth in sats and stop wishing for more poverty points.

Hi,

As a relative #newbie and often reading this 'never sell your #bitcoin ' or 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin, I have a #question or maybe more a say and hope for some words back on what you mean with never selling or ‘think only in sats’?

Because life goes, it just happens and we don't really know how much time we'll have to walk this earth. I imagine we all make effort to make it a good one, to live free (some more that others). So when I read online this #neversell, I do hope for some clarification please. Because we need to spend money for the basics, have unforeseen bills and I find it somewhat misleading if people do this but are posting ‘never sell’, right? Maybe put in fine print, ‘never sell more that you need’.

I do believe I get the point of don’t sell, hold it! For it’s does not mean we are trying to get rich #hodling. We’re making sure we don’t get pushed into poverty and submission with all this fiat scamming.

So unless one is a OG and hodled on in the beginning, they probably can now have it all in btc and use lightning or have some app/bank-card that converts directly when buying something without caring about the btc price. I’m happy for you.

For others whom have/earn little fiat, to spend in this way while dca’ing into btc, would be a dumb move, right?! And it would be stupid for them to go all-in into bitcoin, specially when the bears are out.

So... how am I doing it according to the ones posting ‘never sell your bitcoin’ ? Can I do better and if so, how?

I'm picture #hodling as much as it goes and when is needed to chip away a bit when spending money is running low. Try to #dca in a way that the #fiat only starts running out once the btc invest is in the fiat-profit. And if there are plans to make any big purchases, to do this when the bull market is in full swing.

So I, for now, see it as a savings and hold it while mass adoption happens slowly or fast. How bitcoin will be used in the future, I am curious and will hodl. Weather I’m still alive to see this, who knows right?
