There are a few gourmet type shops here that I’ll have a look at. They probably will be more expensive than the mass produced tins that are available in the supermarkets here but those that I bought were also more expensive coming from a smaller producer.
Thanks, I’ll have to try them if I can find them here!
I know sardines aren’t everyone’s thing but I came across these at the local health food type shop and they were pretty good. Just decent sized sardines, organic extra virgin olive oil and salt.

Is Amethyst still the only mobile client that displays badges? I haven’t seen them in any of the other clients I’ve tried..
I definitely need this one! nostr:note10klgavx75z7yatjcgkx9s5twnra68tea7pzqmr70n7rqfpg3rquspnf2jf
Breakfast 🥚🥓
Yeah it could have been covid. I assumed at the time it was influenza A as there was a lot of that around but the loss of sense of smell was more like covid. I didn’t do a test so will never really know..
Almost 2 months after being sick my sense of smell is finally returning. For the most part, not being able to smell wasn’t really that noticeable day to day. There were even some benefits like being able to go to the toilets at work without needing to worry about the stench left by the previous person. 😂 The most noticeable thing though was that coffee and some foods (for example curries) tasted very bland. nostr:note1s0x69sr9wuxra37xzt7uxjg995arz406t97em0j7cqctzan46dwqpss8pw

First rolls of 35mm film developed!
Overall went well, loading the film in to the tank went well, chemicals were a pain in the ass but we got there in the end. Definitely learned a few things for next time.
As for scans, I don't have a proper solution yet, so these are literally "scanned" with my cell phone camera and inverted with an app. Actually, I kinda like the low-fi feel.

Looks like it worked pretty well! I’ve been thinking about trying this myself as I have an old film camera.
For scanning I bought a Plustek OpticFilm 8100 a while ago. I haven’t tried it with black and white but it does a good job with colour negatives.
