I remember a time when people acted like adults on the internet and in communities…

I recently had a similar realization.

It actually came from an unanticipated source.

I’ve been using Ember to earn free sats (basically you interact with the app for <1 min a every 24 hours and you “mine” sats thereafter)

Well the sats that are mines have to be “claimed”…which means you have to interact with the app more.

The most efficient way I found to convert my mined sats into sats I own is to just use the Predictions feature of the app…which is basically sports betting (they have other ways too but this one takes the least amount of my time and has the most efficacy for me).

Th other night my son and I were watching a basketball game and he asked “who do you want to win dad?”

I said “I want Detroit to win but my sats wants New York…”

He said “yea but it’s only like 10 cents so it’s not like you’d lose a lot of money.”

And that’s when it hit me. On a Fiat, USD basis it’s literally pennies and doesn’t matter…

But on a BTC basis it absolutely matters to me becasue…I’m not viewing it as 10 cents but as 100 sats

For those that don't know, prior to getting on NOSTR I had (still have) a Telegram community for leaders and business owners.

As a leader and a guide, one skill I've developed and come to enjoy, arguably love, is helping people come to the best decision for themselves (on their own).

This week one of my community members whom is humble enough they won't proclaim their win publicly, so I'll do it for them! 😃

This person made a great decision for themselves and their future this week. And its probably not what you think...

They...decided to wait!

Part of being in alighnment with what and how God wants us leading is to have the discernment to know when our timing is aligned with HIS timing.

Patience is not my strong suit...but this leader asked some great questions and after a little bit of time, they decided "now" is NOT the right time.

Good job oughta ya!

In Nostrich terms, they lowered their time preference so they could see another focal point was high priority.

I've got a full day Nostriches so I'm not sure I'll be back on but I wanted to make sure y'all know this is my place :) I enjoy hoping on in the morning and catching up with the lot of ya!
