I once read this guide from the 1930’s on how to pick out a puppy.

You place the dog gently on its back and then hold it there lightly but firmly.

If it makes no effort to flip itself over it’s a chill/lazy dog who will have a mellow personality.

If it struggles to roll over for a bit and then acquiesces and relaxes this is a dog who will take instruction well and is very trainable.

If it won’t stop fighting you and keeps trying to roll over the whole time this is a high strung dog who will remain high strung. Will be hard to train and needs to be put to work in an active way.

According to ChatGPT this was known as the supine restraint test and it was rooted in dominance theory which is currently debunked.

But I’ve always found it useful as a metaphor.

Are you the dog who fights for a little bit and then gives up? Are you the dog who doesn’t fight? Or are you the dog who will keep fighting until you finally get what you want?

gm, people often ask me: Uncle, how are you so successful when it looks like you are just traveling the world and having fun all the time?

My answer is simple: chase work with people you like and who inspire you.

Once you get into the desired setup, be relentless. Do whatever it takes to hit the goal you agreed on, in the timeframe set. When it is done, rinse and repeat.

The most important part is not getting stuck on failures (they will happen) or with people who no longer inspire you (maybe you no longer inspire them).

What is tragic is that most people today just need:

1) a small push toward the right group&goal with clear equity

2) knowledge on how to generate the energy needed to get momentum going

Luckily, the Christmas season and New Year's resolutions are ahead of us. Everyone reading this can be wildly successful in 2026 while having tons of fun. And if you can't do it alone, plan a trip to Plan B El Salvador. Uncle will be there taking questions, giving answers, and lifting weights 💪

Just updated this Bitcoin Calculator to include Euros and GBP (if you've been using give it a hard refresh please).

A few notes:

- There is an API to fetch the prices from Binance.

- If you're using BRAVE you might see an "error fetching price" message on the calculator dashboard because of BRAVE's default security settings.

- Also, I tried to add CAD (Canadian Dollars) but apparently Binance is no longer operating in Canada due to regulatory issues so they are not serving a BTCCAD pair - Sorry Canadian friends 😟 BUT if someone has a suggestion for how to workaround this I appreciate (maybe a better free source for fetching BTC, USDT and Fiat pairs would be great).
