Most of the houses back home (Vancouver, BC) are wood framed. Perhaps more insulating in colder climates? βοΈ
A lot of houses here in Texas are made of brick. It wasn't until I was evacuated from my room due to a tornado last night that I realized why the third little pig from my childhood chose to build his house with it. Mother nature huffed and she puffed but it turns out brick houses are pretty resilient against wind storms. ππ πͺ
