Prince

Oh goodness, was it amazing? I regret never seeing him in concert.

I saw him two times in Stockholm in the second half of the 80ies. He was INCREDIBLY good. Ranks on the top in my book.

Amazing musician.

Hall and Oates

mozart

Weezer as an opening act

That’s cool.

I think I was 16. They played at a local college as the opening act for Live. Maybe 500 ppl total?

They were much better than the headliner, even back then.

Oh wow. We actually love Live and have seen them 4 or 5 times. The last time was at a club several years ago and the 2 college aged girls behind us in the line to get in say, “Eww it’s all old people here.” 🤣🤣

😂😂 I used to be a huge Live fan myself. Didn’t realize they were still touring (or at least had toured recently).

The last time was years ago and it was just Ed not Live in a tiny club. It was kind of sad, but his voice was incredible.

He’s got a truly distinct voice. That’s so awesome.

ha, same! 😅

Nice! I think the sweater song had just come out and was becoming popular. If I’m not mistaken. Time wise. That’s funny I wonder if we were in the same place.

Burning Spear

New Kids on the Block was my first, and I'm not talking about a reunion tour. 😂

I can’t imagine you at a NKOTB concert at any age 🤣

Glad I had a "lame concert" experience as a young kid. Always funny to think about, especially since I have mainly gone to punk and ska shows since I was a teen.

Metallica black album tour

Lol

Weird Al

I saw weird al in 2013 and it was so damn fun.

Check out his new "documentary" if you haven't!

I’ve been meaning to watch. Yeah it was a great concert.

Jackson Browne opening for Tom Petty

Envious!

Such a good concert.

Tears For Fears - Songs From The Big Chair.

💗

Blink 182 while Travis had a broken leg. It was impressive to say the least and someone my age should definitely shouldn’t have been there 😅learned a lot of new words that night.

REO speed wagon.

I went and saw a lot. But Daft Punk was the best I've ever seen. Unforgettable. Very great stage show.

I have several friends who say DP is the best concert they have seen.

Yes indeed. Its one of those things that if you see it you'll never forget. The environment is crazy good.

Lollapalooza featuring Beastie Boys and Smashing Pumpkins #firstconcert

THe WHo.

The Kinks, Yes, Allman Bros. Doobie Bros.

Go Go's.. 😂

I love that.

SarsStock Toronto

The most unforgettable, Rammstein

I saw Matchbox Twenty play in a bar in 1996 before their first album took off. There were a handful of us watching, while everyone else was doing their own thing…but by 1997 they were playing stadiums.

Best concert ever.

That is awesome. We saw Rob Thomas at a smaller venue before covid. I was shocked how great his voice was live.

I’ve seen him a few times since, never been disappointed.

I went to an anthrax concert, white zombie was an opening act.

I saw Wayng Chung and Flock of seagulls got to meet them and everything. But this was early 2000s

Mac Miller & Wiz Khalifa were the headliners and Kendrick Lamar was an opener.

Green Day.

Blink 182 with bad religion opening 1999

I saw that tour!!

It was a good one!

That’s awesome.

Warped Tour?

No this was blinks first arena headlining tour

Mine was Blink 182 in ‘04 with Taking Back Sunday and The Used 😅

I saw Blink live in the back of a small record shop in Montreal. I had the original Cheshire Cat Album from before they added the 182. Had all 3 members sign it (w/ original drummer before Travis Barker).

Threw a wicked house party a couple years later and someone snag it! Dang it!!

You forgot Fenix TX. I was there too

Oh shit! I totally forgot them

nirvana

#sojealous

also the first Lollapalooza. Those few years in the early 90’s were pretty groundbreaking

Fugazi

$5

Creed

I have seen them here in Atlanta back in the day. I’m embarrassed about it 😉

I’m pretty sure I saw them in Atlanta as well (I live in Chattanooga).

Linkin Park

Love.

It was good, they had Puddle of Mudd, Adema and Dilated Peoples supporting.

Michael Jackson 😬

No way!

Bush 😂

So funny.

was hoping you’d like that one 😁😂 (actually was my first concert!)

Dream Theater @ Jones Beach

Ha, I forgot about them!

And hence dated 😂

Backstreet Boys Millennium (my first concert)

Lovin' Spoonful

Linkin Park

Slipknot

LP was great in concert. Chester’s voice was better in person imo. He sang one song acapella and it was goose bumps.

Hall & Oates, Foreigner, The Tubes, etc. 😅

I’ll be seeing a Mozart concert in April, I’m pushing 240 this year

Fiona Apple, though I have no idea why I even thought that was a good idea. It was… interesting.

Beastie Boys

Mine is Digital Underground with Jesus Jones as the opening act. 🤷

“Yo my name is Humpty”. ⚡️

Jayz and Kanye West

Staind

I saw New Kids on the Block in concert

My FIRST concert was Vanilla Ice in his prime. Word to your mother

Rage against the machine in 08!

Always reminds of Rodney in Back to School 😂

Kings of Leon open for the strokes

Erasure

Ooooh saw them in 1990. Fantastic, theatrical show.

87 I think, whenever they were about to release the second album, it was fabulous in every way.

Weezer, Pinkerton tour.

Tibetan Freedom Concert in DC

Dire straits live at Wembley arena 1991.

Coooooool!!!!

Olivia Rodrigo

I used to work in catering for concerts.

Small catering company, so we often catered for stars either on the way up or down. The big concert venues had contacts signed that excluded us from being used.

Emmylou Harris & the Wiggles kinda stand out as interesting examples.

spice girls

wait how do I delete this

Dead Kennedys

Adam Green
