I know that getting a link with a DM is a little dicey and we are thinking about better ways to handle this. One of the reasons we chose a link to our site (instead of letting you generate an invoice by DM) is to give you one more place to verify authenticity.
You can always check the following to make sure a message we send is indeed from our #[0]β:
1. You can validate itβs NIP-05 (https://nostr.wine/.well-known/nostr.json)
2. You can verify the link it is sending you is indeed to our https://nostr.wine website.
3. You can check our relay NIP-11 and validate that #[1]β is indeed the βadmin pubkeyβ for ALL of our nostr.wine relays.
