As the utility of bitcoin goes up, the value of the dollar goes down. I'd that thought bitcoin has the value we choose to give it, but maybe the value of bitcoin is already fully there just waiting for us to build into and discover it?

There's the question of trusting the maker of the device, but you got your devices from them too so trusting them is happening regardless.
