I think fundamentally, social media is the only reasonable way to start a business and actually have it do well as a zoomer without starting capital. Physical storefronts are close to dead, especially without much money to survive operating at a loss for awhile, and digital is next to impossible to break into without a preexisting audience or an extremely original idea, and that's assuming some chinese dude won't steal your idea early on.

He's at the top of the youtube game and is innovating more than anyone else. It's hard to not pay attention unfortunately.

It's mostly little kids and people with a curiosity that get the better of them (I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IT'LL BOTHER ME ALL DAY). The videos, usually, are well made and some of them are interesting on the same level as a game show is. I enjoy it at times but his latest stuff is boring. Can't even force myself to watch it for analysis.

They aren't bots. The videos just hit numbers that good. Videos with similar ideas (thumbnail and title wise which is the most important thing on youtube) have proven to hit similar numbers long term. For example, the video he did recently where he throws a train into a pit was done because the concept was proven to do well years ago virtually. Doing it in real life was an easy way (for him at least) to expand on that idea.
